Secret-key agreement and bound information

The problem of extracting secret and/or entangled bits from quantum states is analyzed. One can establish useful and conceptually interesting parallelisms between these two resources. Exploiting these connections, one can show the existence and activation of the so-called bound information, the cryptographic analog of bound entanglement.
Note the exceptional weekday and time.
