The Research Center for Functional Analysis and Applications, CEAF, is pleased to invite you to WOAT 2012, an International Workshop dedicated to Professor António Ferreira dos Santos to be held at Instituto Superior Técnico, Universidade Técnica de Lisboa, Portugal, from September 11 to September 14 of 2012. The main scientific goal of WOAT 2012 is to present developments in Operator Theory, Operator Algebras and their Applications, and to promote research exchanges in the Operator Theory and Operator Algebras areas.

This workshop continues a series of conferences organized by CEAF since 2006 and aims to stimulate communication between researchers in this scientific area. It consists on twenty talks presented by invited speakers and talks presented by participants that wish to make a contribution.

To stimulate the participation of students and young researchers in the workshop, a small number of grants/scolarships are available (see .Workshop info).
